This section lists the approved exterior paint schemes for our neighborhood. It includes all the original DR Horton color schemes as well as a few changes over the years.
In 2011, the Board of Directors approved new trim colors for the original DR Horton color schemes. The Board also approved 3 new color schemes that coordinate with the look of existing homes. They are the named options to the left. The siding and shake colors can be interchanged if you would like a lighter siding color. Be certain to look at the paint swatches in person before making a decision, as the true colors cannot be accurately displayed online. It is the homeowner’s responsibility to ensure the correct color match. Also take into consideration the brick or stone façade on your house when making a paint choice.
In 2017, the Board of Directors approved a new series of color schemes based on recent DR Horton developments. Those color schemes are available under the 2017 Palettes link on the left.
A list of the original paint colors chosen by DR Horton, along with a picture of a house with that scheme and the scheme number used by DR Horton, are included with all the old color schemes. The paint names are the old Duron colors, so we do not have the actual colors to display. However, the Sherwin-Williams and Duron stores are still able to mix the colors for you. You do not have to use Sherwin-Williams or Duron paint but you will need to color match.
If you decide to change the colors of your home, even the trim, it is necessary to submit an RFM prior to painting. There is no need to submit an RFM if you intend to stay with the same paint scheme that is currently on your home.

Trim Options
For the original DR Horton color schemes (the numbered schemes to the left), the Board has approved new trim colors. You may either continue to use white or choose a color at least 3 shades lighter than your siding color on the Sherwin-Williams/Duron paint swatch (available from a Sherwin-Williams store).
For example, take a look at the paint swatch to the right. If your siding color is 8634M Dusty Miller, both 8631W European Gray and 8630W Prism White are alternative trim options.
You may also use the trim color or white to paint the garage door.
